Holographic Projection

Recently, I’ve had several clients asking if we can do holographic projections for shows, theater, concerts and events.  The answer of course is YES!  So I thought I would explain in more detail what Pepper’s Ghost, or ‘Holographic Projection’ as people seem to be referring to it, actually is.

Peppers Ghost is an illusion first used way back in the 1800’s by John Pepper and Henry Dircks.  It’s a great illusion, a popular stunt used by magicians for years.  Most of us have experienced this in Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion, and more recently it made a sensation when the late Tupac ‘performed’ at Coachella music festival alongside fellow rappers Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg.  Another impressive performance utilized Pepper’s Ghost in 2006, when Madonna performed onstage with the Gorillaz.  When done right, it's a really fun and sticky addition to events shows and performances and is bound to impress audience members and get the social media buzzing.
